What makes a good post?Posting is how we will be communicating to each other online. These are the items I look for in a good post (these apply everywhere in the forum): - Longer than one line. No one liners
- Can be read easily. (If Mr. Xu has to bring out his hieroglyphics translator you probably should edit your post)
- Follows all rules of netiquitte
I will be grading each post (in classroom activities and homework) with the following format: 5 points- Post is full and descriptive. Delivers a proper message to the reader
- Proper grammar is used. Sentence structure is in proper format.
- Post is on topic and not derailing
- All manners of Netiquitte is followed
4 points- Post is full. Delivers a proper message to the reader
- Mostly correct grammar. Most of the sentence structure is proper.
- Post is on topic and not derailing
- All manners of Netiquitte is followed
3 points- Post delivers a proper message to the reader
- Correct grammar is used, but some errors exist also.
- Post is on topic and not derailing
- All manners of Netiquitte is followed
2 points- Post is hard to understand. Message is unclear.
- Many grammar and sentence errors exist.
- Post is derailing
- All manners of Netiquitte is followed
1 point- A rule of Netiquitte is broken
